Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist and Consultant in Fetal Medicine

A Professor and Honorary Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine, Professor Jauniaux has special interests and expertise in placental related disorders and multiple pregnancies. He is involved in developing research programs on the physiology of early human development, screening and management of placental related complications in pregnancy including pre-eclampsia and trophoblastic disorders. He is the UK representative for the training committee of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. He is extensively published receiving many prizes for his work.

Mr Pranav Pandya

Consultant in Fetal Medicine

Mr Pandya is a Consultant in Fetal Medicine. His particular interests are in screening for chromosomal abnormalities, first trimester ultrasound, invasive prenatal diagnosis, fetal echocardiography and 3D/4D ultrasound. He is the chair for the Clinical Perinatal Unit at The Institute for Women’s Health. Mr Pandya is actively involved in education and training in Fetal Medicine, establishing the first amniocentesis workshop and running a number of courses in Obstetric Ultrasound training for doctors from around the world.
